Message	Actually, without really getting into it, it does make sense in certain cases. I pay $1000 a month for a one bedroom (rent controlled), a one bedroom place if I bought would cost around $3-4k a month, depending on down payment, etc. So I can save $2-3K a month by not buying a place, and use that money for other investments, which I do.
